Dental Hygienist

Job description We are seeking an additional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are a general dental practice, with state of the art equipment, that focuses on providing the highest level of care. Bright Side Dental looks like a corporate organization but in actuality each is a family owned practice and the owner normally works as the main Doctor in the practice. We have a full management team to assist our practices in the areas of: HR, Staff Training & CE, Finance, Operations and Staff Happiness. Responsibilities:

Completes dental prophylaxis/periodontal by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and from beneath gum margins. Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums; using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession; exposing and developing radiographic studies. Educates patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions; providing reminders of time of next dental hygiene visit. Documents dental hygiene services by recording vital signs and medical and dental histories; charting in patient records. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
