Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional oral health care to our patients. You will work closely with our dentist to ensure patients receive comprehensive and personalized dental care.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive oral prophylaxis, including scaling and root planing. Take and record patient medical and dental histories. Assess and document periodontal conditions. Apply sealants and fluorides as directed. Take dental radiographs Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients, including proper brushing, flossing, and diet. Educate patients on the importance of preventative dental care. Assist the dentist during dental procedures as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a sterile work environment. Properly sterilize and disinfect dental instruments. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with office administrative tasks as needed. Participate in staff meetings and continuing education courses. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with patients and colleagues. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program. Must possess a valid and current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida. Current CPR. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with electronic dental records (EHR) preferred. Bilingual skills (if applicable) a plus.
