The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology, as well as the skills necessary for dental fabrication. This role is essential in supporting dental professionals by creating high-quality dental appliances and restorations that meet patient needs. Duties Fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances based on specifications provided by dentists. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols throughout the fabrication process to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all procedures performed. Collaborate with dental professionals to understand patient requirements and adjust designs as necessary. Utilize dental software systems, such as Epic, for managing patient information and tracking progress. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance service delivery. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology to accurately interpret prescriptions and create appropriate restorations. Proficiency in dental fabrication processes and techniques, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Familiarity with medical coding practices relevant to dental procedures. Experience working in a dental office setting, providing insight into daily operations and patient care. Understanding of pediatric dentistry principles when fabricating appliances for younger patients.
