Duties Manage patient scheduling using Eaglesoft, ensuring efficient appointment flow and minimal wait times Verify insurance coverage and benefits handle insurance claims and follow-up on outstanding balances Perform accurate dental billing and coding using
CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10
codes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and documentation standards Review medical records and documentation for completeness and accuracy; update patient files Assist patients at the front desk with check-in/check-out procedures, answer multi-line phone systems professionally, and provide excellent patient service Conduct insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and intake procedures while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines Support office management tasks such as data entry, maintaining dental records, and managing appointment reminders to optimize clinic efficiency Skills Proven experience in dental office administration Strong knowledge of dental terminology Proficiency with dental practice management software Eaglesoft Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (10 key typing), and familiarity with health information management systems Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations Knowledge of insurance verification processes, HIPAA compliance Strong organizational skills for filing, documentation review, medical records management, and clinic support tasks Join us in making a difference by supporting our patients' health journeys!
