This pivotal role combines office management, patient care coordination, and team leadership to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will oversee administrative functions, foster exceptional patient experiences, and support the clinical team in delivering outstanding dental care. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a thriving practice from the ground up and make a meaningful impact on patients' oral health journeys. Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, billing, and patient records management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) Open Dental. Coordinate treatment plans with patients, explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring understanding of financial options. Oversee fiscal management activities including budgeting, financial reporting, and monitoring practice revenue streams. Supervise administrative staff and clinical team members, providing guidance on medical office management, HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, and medical records handling. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards and HIPAA privacy rules while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality. Facilitate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development within a healthcare management framework. Collaborate with clinical providers to optimize clinic workflows, manage acute care cases efficiently, and support managed care initiatives. Implement quality assurance protocols related to medical administrative support and ensure smooth utilization management processes. Lead efforts in patient engagement by coordinating treatment schedules, follow-ups, and billing inquiries to enhance patient satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare office administration with familiarity in dental clinic experience preferred. Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success in managing teams within a medical or dental setting. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with eClinicalWorks or Epic is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare compliance standards including JCAHO requirements. Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Background in medical administrative support combined with clinic experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with managed care processes, utilization management, and hospital or acute care settings adds value. Pay:
