Hometown Family Dentistry in Magnolia, NJ is looking for a skilled treatment plan coordinator to join our team! Hours are Mondays - Thursdays 8am to 6pm. Must have a strong knowledge of PPO insurance and experience with Dentrix! Must have experience with insurance verification, insurance breakdowns, and copays. Must also be comfortable with collecting co-pays and past balances due. Must be comfortable explaining treatment and co-pays to patients. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! In this essential role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to check-in and check-out. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression Be comfortable collecting money from patients Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software, Dentrix Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility verification Collect payments and handle billing procedures accurately Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and assist patients with inquiries or appointment rescheduling Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist within a dental clinic or healthcare setting Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and clear communication abilities Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Join us in delivering outstanding patient care through efficient office management and compassionate service!
