Open Door is currently seeking a Dental Patient Service Representative for its Port Chester, NY location to assist in the provision of dental services. You are eligible to participate in the Open Door's Retention Bonus Plan for 2026. The Open Door's Retention bonus plan pays a quarterly bonus of $750. The OD Retention Bonus Plan will be reviewed on an annual basis.
Major Duties:
Collect information from patients, including insurance information, money for copays and contact information to put into eCW, facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff, Responds to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner, Provide patients with forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents, Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on provider availability, Process payments from patients for uninsured patients, Check and verify patient insurance eligibility, Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Superior customer service skills and experience required. Flexible and solutions-driven Responsive and comfortable working in the fast paced high accountability environment with different types of providers. Passionate about providing high-quality care to low-income, underserved residents and those lacking access to health care.
