Seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to assist with basic duties. We are a general dental office with a need for a second front staff member. Experience in handling phones, scheduling, collecting payments and Eaglesoft software is highly encouraged. Bilingual is a huge plus. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. In this vital role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to check-out. Your expertise in dental administrative support, insurance verification, and dental terminology will help facilitate efficient clinic operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care while utilizing your strong office management skills and proficiency with various EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Schedule appointments accurately using dental office management software such as Eaglesoft, ensuring optimal clinic flow. Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and handle medical billing and collections with attention to detail. Maintain and update patient records in EMR systems like Eaglesoft ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Review documentation for accuracy, including intake forms, care plans, and medical records, while adhering to documentation review protocols. Assist with insurance verification processes, including Medicare, PPO, Medicaid, other billing procedures. Manage phone systems efficiently while handling appointment rescheduling or patient inquiries promptly. Skills Extensive experience with dental office management software Eaglesoft; Proven ability in medical billing, collections, insurance verification, and handling insurance claims. Exceptional patient service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with health information management systems like Care Plans or eClinicalWorks enhances your fit for this role.
