Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Receptionist, where your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will be the first point of contact for our patients. In this vital role, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and ensure seamless communication between patients and the dental team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving dental practice dedicated to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk duties with professionalism, including answering multi-line phone systems and scheduling appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and assist with billing . Manage patient intake, update medical records, and review documentation for accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain accurate filing of dental and medical records. Support office management by handling clerical tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and managing office supplies Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries professionally and maintaining a positive office environment Skills Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and health information management practices useful. Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (including 10 key typing), and familiarity with dental software like Dentrix useful. Excellent phone etiquette with multi-line phone system experience; capable of managing appointment scheduling and patient intake smoothly Prior clinic or dental office experience is not necessary. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
