Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator Lumen Dental
  • Flint, MI Lumen Dental is looking for an experienced, organized, and patient-focused Dental Receptionist to join our growing team.
We are a modern private practice focused on providing high-quality dentistry with excellent patient experience and strong teamwork. We are looking for someone who is confident at the front desk, understands dental office workflow, communicates professionally, and can keep the schedule and office running efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
  • Greet and check patients in/out professionally and warmly
  • Answer phones and manage patient communication
  • Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
  • Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility
  • Present treatment estimates and collect payments
  • Manage recalls and help maintain a productive schedule
  • Handle patient charts, forms, and documentation accurately
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Follow HIPAA and office protocols
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and positive front office environment Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of dental front desk/receptionist experience
REQUIRED
  • Experience with dental insurance verification and billing
  • Familiarity with Open Dental or similar software preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures preferred Compensation & Benefits
