Dental Sterilization Technician

Morrison Dental Group is seeking to hire a Dental Sterilization Technician to work in our Norge, VA office. Starting pay $17 per hour, based on experience All applications will only be considered active for 30 days. After that period of time, you must reapply for any open position. The ideal candidate's key responsibilities for our Norge Dental office would include:

• Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments, dental supplies, and equipment.
• Assembles, wraps and sterilizes trays of instruments in accordance to OSHA guidelines.
• Follows proper health precautions while in decontaminations and sterilization areas.
• Inspect dental instruments and equipment for damage, wear, and proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of instruments and equipment processed.
• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and other methods as required.
• Restock inventory supplies and instruments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants regarding instrument needs and availability.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required . Certification in sterile processing and distribution (CSPDT) or central sterile processing (CRCST) preferred .

Experience:

Previous experience in dental sterilization or a related field preferred .
