Job Description

The dental office of Nicholas Hammermeister, D.D.S. is currently hiring for part-time Dentists! We are seeking an experienced Dentist(s) with at least 5 years of clinical experience to join our well-established and community loved practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a Dentist who enjoys delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform smiles and improve lives through compassionate, high-quality treatment. This is an exciting opportunity for Dentists looking for part-time work or supplemental income. Hours are Mondays through Thursdays 9a-6p. Two days a week to start, can open up into more if desired!
Responsibilities of Dentist:
Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics to maintain and restore patient oral health. Conduct oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions and other surgical interventions with precision and care. Assess patient needs through thorough patient assessments, utilizing medical and dental terminology to document findings accurately. Utilize dental imaging technology to diagnose issues effectively while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, explaining procedures clearly and ensuring understanding of dental terminology. Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of all documentation. Use dental practice management software for scheduling, charting, billing, and record keeping to streamline workflow. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry along with emergency services, pediatric care, cosmetic dentistry. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control. protocols, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
