Job Description
Clinton County, Michigan Executive Leadership Opportunity Clinton County is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and service-oriented leader to serve as its next Deputy County Administrator . This executive leadership role serves as the County's second-in-command administrator and plays a key role in county operations, budgeting, policy development, strategic initiatives, and organizational leadership. Located in the heart of Mid-Michigan, Clinton County offers an exceptional quality of life with growing communities, strong schools, outdoor recreation, and convenient access to the Lansing metropolitan region. Clinton County is recognized as a financially stable organization with experienced leadership and a strong commitment to high-quality public service. Key Responsibilities Assist the County Administrator in executive leadership and county operations Coordinate and support annual budget development and financial oversight Conduct policy research and strategic analysis Support Board of Commissioners committees and initiatives Assist with personnel and employee relations matters Coordinate county-wide projects and operational improvements Act on behalf of the County Administrator/Controller as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public administration, Finance, Business, or related field Graduate coursework or Master's degree preferred Minimum five years of administrative experience in county government or related public sector setting with responsibility for government finances Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational leadership skills Michigan Driver's License required
Salary & Benefits Salary Range:
