• based rehabilitative group programming in a justice-involved setting, including: Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and the Batterers' Treatment Program .

You will deliver and support structured probation programs guided by research-supported, evidence-based practices designed to improve participant outcomes, promote accountability, and enhance community safety. Some experience in the field of probation or law enforcement is desirable.

Training :

Equivalent to a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in law enforcement, criminal justice or closely related field.

License or Certificate:

Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a certificate of completion of course prescribed by commission of Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) pursuant to Section 832 of the California Penal Code. Completion of or the ability to complete the STC Probation Officer CORE Course and the possession of, or the ability to obtain California Penal Code 832 Certification. Learn to facilitate Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Batterers' Treatment Program (BTP)and other Cognitive Behavioral Therapy programs.
