Job Overview Tattered Brim Hat Co. is a custom hat bar experience where creativity meets craftsmanship. We specialize in helping customers design one-of-a-kind hats through custom branding, embellishments, and personalized styling. Every hat tells a story and we're looking for talented individuals who love working with people and creating memorable experiences. As a Hat Creator, you will work directly with customers to design and build custom hats while delivering exceptional customer service. This is more than a retail position - it's an opportunity to be part artist, part stylist, and part experience creator. We are looking for outgoing, creative, individuals who enjoy working with their hands, connecting with customers, and bringing unique designs to life. Help us build a destination shopping experience in Downtown West Point with the opportunity to grow as the company expands. We are not a normal retail store, we are a whole vibe. Responsibilities Guide customers through the custom hat creation process Assist customers in selecting hat styles, colors, patches, branding and accessories Customize and finish hats according to customer preferences Apply embellishments and decorative elements with attention to detail Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace Process Sales transactions and assist with daily store operations Create engaging social media content when needed Support private events, pop-up events, and special promotions Deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish Requirements Positive attitude and strong people skills Creative mindset with an eye for design and style Comfortable working in a fast paced retail environment Strong attention to detail Ability to work weekends and special events Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Crafting, design, western fashion, or artistic experience is a plus but not required We can teach the technical skills. What we can't teach is enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping customers create something special.
