Job Description

  • Studio Assistant (with Growth Potential)
  • Could be Part or Full-Time Position | Weekend & Evening Availability Required
  • We're looking for a friendly, flexible, and motivated team member to join our creative studio! This is a customer-facing role perfect for someone who loves helping people, and thrives in a team environment. Experience in the arts is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train the right person. Restaurant or retail experience preferred.
  • Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Weekend availability is a must.
  • Being available during our busiest hours: Thursday through Sunday, including some weeknights.
  • Assisting with a variety of art activities such as clay handbuilding, wheel throwing, ceramic painting, and fused glass (we will train on all of these skills)
  • Providing excellent customer service and helping guests feel welcome and inspired
  • Supporting workshops, parties, and group events with setup, instruction, and cleanup
  • Maintaining a clean and organized studio environment
  • Performing daily cleaning tasks such as wiping tables, mopping, organizing supplies, and restocking materials
  • Keeping the studio well-organized to support a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Collaborating with team members and contributing to a positive studio atmosphere.
  • Room for growth, could grow into opportunities for people management or team leadership.

  • A positive attitude and outgoing personality
  • Strong people skills and a passion for customer service
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail, must be comfortable in a busy environment and be a strong multi-tasker.
  • Willingness to pitch in with cleaning and studio upkeep
  • A desire to learn the fired arts (ceramics, glass, etc.) and share that knowledge with others
  • An interest in teaching or assisting with instruction in the future.
  • A reliable team player.
  • retain and/or restaurant experience is a plus.

(We are always looking for staff who are excited to lead birthday parties and Kids Night Out Events. We also would love to have people that have any previous experience teaching art workshops like Hand building, wheel throwing, or other art mediums.) This is all helpful but not required.
