Description Job Summary:
As an Artist, you will provide artistic support in the preparation of yearbook covers under general supervision. Ensure customer satisfaction by balancing artistic integrity, production quality, and operational efficiency, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Required Systems/Applications:
Adobe Suites.
Essential Functions:
Assist schools by refining artwork and managing digital files without altering school-submitted designs. Ensure complete customer satisfaction with cover designs through flexibility, responsiveness, and proactive communication. Generate film/files for finished artwork. Track and report billing, hours, and daily operational concerns to support departmental efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Artistic background demonstrated through education and portfolio, with proficiency in Photoshop, and InDesign. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated artistic ability ranging from average to above average. Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy and clarity.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing as required. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount frequently to lift, push, pull, or move objects. Visual clarity at 20 inches or less and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
