4 days a week, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (4 hours/day) About the Role We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Gallery Assistant to support our team with day-to-day social media management and administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment and wants flexible, part-time hours. Responsibilities Manage and update the gallery's social media accounts (posts, stories, scheduling, engagement) Assist with general administrative duties (emails, filing, record-keeping, scheduling) Support with visitor coordination and basic front-desk tasks as needed Help document and catalog artwork/exhibition materials Coordinate with the team on upcoming events and promotions Assist in the installation, deinstallation, and maintenance of artworks using hand tools, carpentry skills, and fabrication techniques to ensure safe and visually appealing displays. Support the creation of digital content including motion graphics, video production, and web design to promote exhibitions and events. Use graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, and Figma to develop promotional materials, signage, and exhibition layouts. Collaborate with curators and artists on presentation design, layout planning, and conservation framing to enhance artwork presentation. Manage AV system installation and operation for multimedia displays or artist presentations during exhibitions. Image mapping knowledge would be helpful. Maintain gallery spaces by cleaning, organizing supplies, and ensuring all visual elements adhere to branding standards and aesthetic guidelines.

Requirements Excellent communication skills with strong command of English (written and verbal) Comfortable using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and basic office software Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently A background or interest in art is a plus, but not required Schedule Details 4 hours per day 4 days per week Working hours: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Your passion for art, combined with your technical proficiency in digital design and visual communication, will contribute to elevating the gallery's reputation as a hub of artistic excellence.
