Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION
: We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Artist to collaborate with the entire communications office to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that can be translated across various media platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills who is able to process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner. The ability to develop digital content quickly and creatively is a must. The Digital Artist will work with other digital artists, under supervision, to design and refine multiple concurrent projects.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Works closely with the Communications team and member offices to understand the scope of work, plan for large projects and establish brands and strategy. Develop digital products for various platforms, e.g., social media, websites and video. Work with other digital artists to manage digital asset workflow. Work with member offices to develop concepts and create digital products. Proof work created by other digital artists. Generating creative ideas and create new products. Ensure brand consistency throughout digital assets. Assist photography, web, video and print graphic departments when necessary. Stay late as needed on session days. Occasional weekend and holiday assignments. Other work-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Degree in graphic design or related field, bachelor's preferred. Expert knowledge and professional experience in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) for static graphics, animation and video is a must. Familiarity with MacOS. Proficiency with Infogram, Google Analytics and Adobe DAM are a plus. Still photography skills (digital SLR) are a strong bonus.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, self-starting team player. Can work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Ability to meet deadlines and take direction.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
