Job Description
Edible Arrangements is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Fruit Expert / Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and presenting our signature fresh fruit arrangements, chocolate-dipped fruit, and gift items. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating high-quality products that delight customers. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers in-store and provide a welcoming, positive experience. Assist customers with selecting arrangements, gift options, and custom orders. Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries about products, pricing, and delivery. Accurately process orders through the POS system for pickup and delivery. Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Fruit Preparation & Arrangement Prepare fresh fruit by washing, cutting, and shaping according to Edible Arrangements standards. Create fruit bouquets, chocolate-dipped fruit, and other specialty items with attention to detail and presentation. Ensure all products meet quality and freshness standards before leaving the store. Package orders carefully for pickup or delivery. Store Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed. Support team members during busy periods, especially holidays and peak seasons. Qualifications Previous customer service or retail experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic computer and POS system skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light food preparation tasks. Food handling experience or certification is a plus (training may be provided). Schedule Part-time hours (approximately 10-25 hours per week ).
