In this role, you will lead engaging sewing classes, develop comprehensive curricula, and foster a supportive environment that encourages artistic expression and technical mastery. Your enthusiasm for sewing, combined with your ability to teach and manage diverse groups, will empower students to bring their ideas to life through fabric and thread. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise while helping others discover the joy of sewing. Duties Design and deliver dynamic sewing lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced students Develop engaging curricula that incorporate fundamental sewing techniques, project-based learning, and creative exploration Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring safety, organization, and positive behavior among students Provide personalized tutoring and guidance to help students overcome challenges and improve their sewing skills Incorporate additional creative disciplines such as photography, ballet, theater, or culinary arts into lessons when relevant to enhance learning experiences Maintain a clean, organized workspace with all sewing equipment and materials properly stored and maintained Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements to motivate continued growth Skills Strong background in sewing techniques and garment construction with the ability to teach these skills clearly Experience in curriculum development tailored for different age groups and skill levels Excellent classroom management skills to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment Proven ability in tutoring and working with children as well as adult learners in educational settings Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, behavior management strategies, and early childhood education best practices Creative talents such as photography or ballet can be leveraged to enrich lessons or inspire projects Effective lesson planning skills that incorporate arts integration, project-based activities, and hands-on learning approaches Join us as a Sewing Instructor and ignite passion for craftsmanship while fostering confidence in every student! Pay:
