Central Arkansas Entertainment is a full-service event production company based in Little Rock, Arkansas. We design, build, and deliver complete event environments for wedding clients, corporate clients, nonprofits, and organizations across the region and beyond. Our work spans staging, lighting, audio/visual, custom fabrication, branded environments, drape, and DJ services. All of this is executed by an in-house team from load-in to lights-out. We are known for quality production, reliable execution, and the ability to turn any venue into exactly what a client needs it to be.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Audio Visual Technician role based in the Little Rock Metropolitan Area. The Audio Visual Technician will set up, operate, and break down AV systems for events, including sound, video, and lighting equipment. Responsibilities include testing and configuring audio-visual components, supporting video conferencing needs, and ensuring projectors, screens, and related devices function properly. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues during live events, coordinating with event managers, DJs, and performers, and maintaining equipment inventory and basic repairs. The technician will also assist with load-in and load-out, follow safety procedures, and provide professional, customer-focused support to clients and guests.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including setup, operation, and integration of sound, video, and control equipment. Ability to troubleshoot AV issues quickly and effectively in live event environments. Experience with Video Conferencing platforms and hardware for hybrid or virtual event support. Hands-on experience with LED Video Wall setup, operation, and teardown. Hands-on experience with Lighting systems, including basic programming, focusing, and operation during events. Proficiency with Projectors, screens, and related display technologies, including proper alignment and image optimization. Ability to lift and move AV equipment safely and work on your feet for extended periods. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-service mindset and professional demeanor on-site. Prior event production, live sound, or stage tech experience preferred; relevant certifications or technical training are a plus. Reliable transportation and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require. Clean Driving Record & Able to drive 16FT-26FT Box Truck (CDL not required, must have a valid drivers license)
