Scottsdale, AZ Join the Audio Integrators Team Audio Integrators is looking for a Residential Low Voltage / Smart Home Installation Technician to join our growing team. This is an entry to mid-level position for someone with experience in low-voltage wiring, trim-out, residential AV, security, networking, or smart home technology who wants to continue developing their skills and grow within a professional company.

This is a residential smart home installation position, not a live event, venue, stage production, or hotel AV role. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Prewiring residential new construction projects Pulling, securing, labeling, and organizing low-voltage wire Post-wire installation and retrofit work Trimming out structured cabling, speakers, keypads, data jacks, security devices, cameras, and wall plates Installing TVs, speakers, AV racks, network equipment, cameras, and smart home devices Assisting with Control4, Savant, networking, surveillance, security, distributed audio/video, and home theater systems Performing clean AV rack installation and wire management Running and terminating data, audio, video, security, and control wiring Using trade tools properly, including drills, hand tools, testers, and multimeters Reading basic plans, wiring diagrams, and project notes Troubleshooting and supporting new audio/video and low-voltage systems Working on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and active construction environments Communicating clearly with team members, project leads, and office staff Maintaining a clean, professional job site and taking pride in quality workmanship Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has: 1-3+ years of experience in low-voltage wiring, structured cabling, residential AV, networking, security, or smart home installation Experience pulling, securing, terminating, and trimming low-voltage wire Basic knowledge of audio/video, distributed audio, networking, surveillance, or home theater systems Ability to read and follow basic design drawings, wiring plans, and project notes High attention to detail, quality control, efficiency, and teamwork A positive attitude and willingness to learn Pride in clean, professional work Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to show up to work daily and on time Comfort working in physically demanding environments Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders safely Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and maintain a good driving record Benefits Company vehicle provided, subject to driving record and background check Company-provided training and certification opportunities Paid time off Paid overtime Opportunities for advancement Employee discount Professional development assistance Work Location In person — Scottsdale, AZ and surrounding job sites.
