Sets up wiring and cables as needed for an equipment system, which may include microphones, speakers, sound mixing and recording equipment and video equipment; may also work with specialized lighting equipment.

The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's degree in a technology related field and/or minimum 7 years of previous employment with AV support responsibilities in the AV industry. Our corporation is looking for an individual who possesses a full understanding of all areas of the A/V field including but not limited to: Execute pre-production planning, logistics, verbal & written communication with various teams in the corporation Manage event production timelines to ensure a timely schedule leading up to date of event Organizing and managing events for meetings. Providing IT / meeting support. Creating and running all C-suite level events, both virtual and hybrid. Highly organized, detail-oriented, articulate, professional and the ability to work independently Knowledge & understanding operation of audio, video production & lighting equipment Experience with different streaming platforms using Mac & Windows Experience running live virtual events, mainly utilizing Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex. Setup, operate and troubleshoot various audio/video systems. Facilitates the repair or replacement applicable hardware. Access to software updates and upgrades for hardware covered by manufacturer program. Use of online incident reporting tool for easy ticket awareness and annual business reviews. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to: Testing/repairing cables. Testing/repairing various hardware components. Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans. Responsible for job site documentation as needed. Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: Ongoing end user instruction and training Meeting setup Meeting support (i.e., AV systems management / operation) Setup, operate and troubleshoot various audio/video systems. Facilitates the repair or replacement applicable hardware. Access to software updates and upgrades for hardware covered by manufacturer program.

Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy and attention to detail Technical AV certifications such as CTS a plus Proficiency in PC use with such programs as MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work remotely with Control and DSP programmers out in the field to be able re-load programs. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted through the day and transition between client locations. Capable of wiring and rewiring AV racked equipment for servicing and replacing Network troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of commercial IT networks for LAN or WAN. Experience with VoIP networking products and PBXs such as Nortel, Avaya, Cisco, NEC, ShoreTel, Mitel, etc. are a PLUS. Working knowledge of W10, MS Office Suite, Mac OS, Networking protocols Able to conduct research into networking issues and installation problems. Arrange for product returns and/or exchanges with our vendors when required. Minimum of 3 years' experience servicing and/or installing systems in a client facing capacity with prior corporate support services experience w/strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Requirements Must be available for Weekend work for one to two times a month Must always look/present well and communicate clearly and effectively to management and clients.
