A/V Technician- F/T (35587) Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage - Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Category Entertainment Apply Description Job Description Summary Responsible for the installation and maintenance of audio, video, lighting, media systems, and technical equipment utilized on the casino and hotel properties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV equipment, including audio, video, conferencing systems, projectors, displays, and control systems. Perform daily maintenance and cleaning on all equipment in AV racks, AV rooms and permanently installed equipment. ensuring their optimal functionality and reliability. Equipment inventory and tracking on a daily basis to ensure that company assets are not lost or damaged. Stay up to date with emerging AV technologies, trends and industry best practices. Be familiar with and follow all state, local, OSHA and MSDS regulations. Demonstrate strategic thinking and ability to respond to the AV needs of the property. Provide daily project status updates to the AV Manager, including immediate escalation of any issues where necessary. Assist with the programming of AV content throughout the properties, including but not limited to the rotational sports programming and music. Work with all external approved vendors and internal departments to ensure efficiency of all systems and events. Must comply with all applicable Agua Caliente Casinos System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities None Access to Sensitive Areas and Information As per the ACGC Access Matrix. Signatory Ability None Qualifications Required Education and/or Experience Basic to intermediate knowledge of audio, video and control systems, including video conferencing platforms. Proficiency in AV equipment setup, calibration and troubleshooting. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols related to AV systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all departments. Must have excellent organizational skills, computer literate, and have excellent customer relation skills. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel to different locations as needed. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Casino or hospitality services industry experience a plus. Working Conditions/Physical Demands To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Must be able to work in a "lighting subdued" environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment to include entertainment venues. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
