Full Job Description Primary Function:

Make an immediate impact on an exciting and rapidly growing Workplace Technology team that is at the leading edge of audio-visual solutions, structured cabling, security and other communication platforms. In this position, you will apply your expert technology installation skills to assuring the highest quality craftsmanship for all our installation projects.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install A/V and related systems in commercial spaces
- Lead teams of installation technicians to complete satisfactory A/V installations on time, on budget, and on quality
- Maintain customer systems, customer service systems according to Service Level Agreements, including regular service visits, on-call availability when necessary, maintenance of firmware and other system requirements according to SLAs
- Maintenance of Hyphn's internal A/V systems, development and upkeep of records, scheduling and coordination of routine maintenance, proactive performance checks
- Develop and document best practices and preferred installation methods for process improvement
- Train and develop other installation technicians.
- Read and interpret project blueprints, CAD drawings, elevations, schematics, reflected ceiling plans, call out possible project challenges and risks, and lead a team to install systems based on drawing package
- Terminate, test and label network, audio and video cabling
- Rack construction, pulling cable, and preparing equipment for installation
- Installation of completed racks, projectors, monitors and related sub mounts
- Assist with testing system components to assure system completeness and convention
- Use company approved installation methods and techniques
- Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, standards and conventions
- Assure each system's physical completeness is in accordance with installation drawings
- Maintain an on-going dialog with Lead Installation Technician and Project Engineer, ensuring that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations
- Maintain assigned equipment inventory and assigned tools
- Handle other duties related to the job as assigned by management
- Follow and maintain proper safety practices

- Participate in training and self-development programs, to continuously improve skills and approach
- Perform other duties assigned by WPT leadership
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent as a prerequisite
- AVIXA CTS or CTS-I is a plus
- Other A/V industry certifications
- College Degree or Trade School Diploma in Audio or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other audio or video related degree, or 3-5 years of experience installing and maintaining high-quality audio-visual systems
- Biamp, Extron, Crestron, QSYS, Logitech, Google Video Conferencing, Zoom, Cisco, Poly, ClearOne system installation and commissioning experience a plus
- Experience managing teams and/or projects in the field at construction sites in various phases
- Experience installing audio-visual, teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems, low voltage, voice/data cabling, structured cabling, fiber optic, or related systems strongly preferred
- Experience using hand tools of the A/V and electronic related trades is a plus. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, wire strippers and crimpers for varying types of wire and cable, soldering tools/techniques, construction equipment such as scaffolding, hoists, pulleys, (concrete, brick & block) attachment devices, Unistrut steel support, etc.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record and meet all eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle throughout employment.

- Basic computer skills using
Microsoft Office Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred, technical trade school diploma or college degree a plus. 3-5 Years relevant experience.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Leading project installation teams.Physical Demands:

- Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in high places and in small, cramped places
- Must be able to work in hot humid places as well as cold places
