Compensation :

$30-$47 an hour, Depends on Experience Job title: A/V Technician Audio Video Integration in San Rafael is looking to hire an Experienced A/V Installer/Technician. Audio Video Integration is a family owned business that has been serving our community since 1985. The A/V Installer/Technician will work independently (and with a team) towards the completion of project-based installations and service calls. This person will be responsible for the timely completion of daily tasks, procedures, and documentation they are assigned. You should be professional, well organized, adept at balancing a range of tasks, hard-working, computer proficient, have a clean driving record, and be a real team player.

Job Requirements:

Plan, assemble, install, and terminate A/V equipment racks and head-ends with an emphasis on dressing the rack cleanly and professionally Install a variety of A/V components including but not limited to video displays, projectors, projection screens, speakers, network equipment, control systems, surveillance cameras, and shades Ability to pull cables between sub-systems and rooms Effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair most system Should be able to read/interpret site plan schematics and drawings Pre-wiring and retrofit wiring of single-family homes and commercial buildings Lighting control installation and programming Communicate daily job site status to the Project Manager Know your way around a construction site Excellent organizational skills and the desire to work for a professional company Be able to complete tasks efficiently and with speed Able to lift 60lbs Have availability for work Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Qualifications (ONE of the following required): Low voltage residential wiring Home theater installation/setup Electrician Framer/Carpenter Security/alarm systems Shades/blinds installation IT Skills Desired skills include: C4 programming RTI Universal Remote Control Lutron / RadioRA3 Network skills Can train on site or at store all desired skills if not known.
