Lead AV Technician - Residential & Commercial Firebird AV, INC Santa Barbara, CA Job Details Full-time $30 - $50 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Low-voltage system cabling Network infrastructure Telecommunications low voltage systems Attention to detail Low-voltage electrical wiring Full Job Description We are a Santa Barbara-based company specializing in high-end residential and commercial audio/video, lighting, and networking systems. We're looking for an experienced AV technician who takes pride in clean work and wants to be part of a growing, professional team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Installing and terminating low-voltage wiring (Cat6, speaker wire, etc.) Building and organizing equipment racks Installing audio/video systems, TVs, speakers, and related equipment Assisting with or installing lighting and control systems Working on networks and Wi-Fi systems Reading plans and executing installations properly
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of AV or low-voltage experience Strong attention to detail and clean workmanship Basic understanding of signal flow and networking Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, professional, and punctual Nice to Have (Not Required): Experience with Crestron, Lutron, or similar systems UniFi or other networking experience Rack building and system layout experience
Compensation:
$30-$45+/hr depending on experience Opportunity for growth and advancement Consistent, high-quality projects
