WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Audio Visual Specialist will work in partnership with the Customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Provide start up and dedicated Audio Visual Support for meetings and events Setup and breakdown of AV Technology in conference spaces, meeting rooms, training rooms, and labs to meet the customers meeting and event needs Provide White Glove Customer Service to all customers, clients, and guests Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to: ensuring that all technology works as designed and testing/repairing various hardware components Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, installing non-complex AV components, and video/audio recording support where applicable Provide consultation and guidance to customers regarding the technological needs for their upcoming meetings Responsible for job site documentation and providing client training on the AV Technology as needed Collaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL Understand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties Occasional afterhours overtime and Saturday overtime Travel to various job sites as required Items to

AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account. This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
Ability to provide a white glove customer experience. Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner including soldering & crimping connectors Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines Intermediate computer knowledge Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 - 3 years of audiovisual integration or support experience preferred
Nice-To-Haves:
Formal education in Electronics, Technology, or related field preferred Experience with video editing using an NLE program (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Davinci Resolve, etc.) Preferred external training: o Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom o Lenovo Tap o Q-SYS o AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals o Crestron Professional Installation o Exton AV Associate Certification o AVIXA Quick Start to the Audio-Visual Industry o
