Job Description
Overview Under the general direction of the Audio/Visual Manager, the Audio/Visual Technician is responsible for repairs, maintenance, fabrication, and installation of the audio/visual (A/V) equipment and operating/control systems of Chumash Enterprises. Responsibilities Troubleshoots and resolves A/V hardware and software upgrades, operates equipment for live events, and completes assigned internal work orders for the Chumash Enterprise. Performs technical repair and maintenance of audio-visual equipment. Executes and follows a plan of preventative maintenance to identify potential equipment problems and adjusts or repairs before serious equipment damage results. Maintains an inventory of replacement parts and supplies to ensure necessary parts and supplies are available when needed. Fabricates and installs audio-visual equipment and systems to provide users with desired audio-visual services. Provides audio-visual and technical assistance to provide all users with services. Operates sound, video, or recording equipment for live events and functions. Works with various departments (Information Technologies, Marketing) to create and maintain digital signage and advertising displays. Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.

Chumash. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Associate's Degree or certification from a technical institute in A/V or equivalent work experience. Two years' work experience in an A/V position.
