Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician - Part-Time Contract Position MoonVision Productions Vandenberg AFB, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $30 - $32 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Live event projects Streaming video systems operation Live streaming YouTube Music mixing Live event AV production projects Equipment troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Live event videography Video recording equipment Performing background checks Live production performance Facebook Technical troubleshooting support Broadcast studio equipment operation Video streaming Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician to provide professional audio, video, and livestream support for weekly chapel services. The technician will serve as the primary technical point of contact during services, ensuring a seamless experience for both in-person attendees and online viewers. Duties Pre-Service Preparation Arrive approximately 45 minutes before service start time. Set up and test audio and video equipment. Verify functionality of microphones, speakers, monitors, cameras, and livestream software. Service Operations Operate and manage live audio mixing. Monitor and adjust sound levels for speakers, musicians, and worship teams. Operate cameras and oversee video production. Start, monitor, and end livestream broadcasts. Troubleshoot audio, video, and streaming issues in real time. Post-Service Duties Properly shut down and secure equipment. Report technical issues and equipment concerns. Assist in maintaining and improving A/V procedures. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience with live audio mixing and sound reinforcement. Minimum 1 year of experience with livestreaming and video production. Experience with digital mixers, microphones, speakers, cameras, and streaming platforms. Familiarity with software such as OBS, Streamlabs, Facebook Live, or YouTube Live preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and professionally. Excellent communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to pass a background check and meet installation access requirements. Preferred Experience Mackie DL32S Mixer Behringer X32 Digital Mixer Camera operation and live event production Church or worship production environments Compensation Competitive hourly or per-service rate based on experience. Approximately 3-4 hours per Sunday service. Additional opportunities may be available for special events throughout the year.
