Job Overview We're looking for an experienced Custom Audio/Video Install Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in delivering clean, professional solutions, enjoys working with technology, and understands that the quality of an installation matters just as much as the technology itself. As an Install Technician, you will work alongside our team to install and integrate residential technology systems. You will be involved in everything from running and terminating wire to mounting equipment, installing displays and speakers, configuring networks, and completing the finishing details that make a professional installation stand out. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting problems, and committed to doing things the right way. You don't need to know everything on day one. We value a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Duties & Responsibilities Install residential and light commercial audio, video, networking, automation, security, and control systems Pull, route, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling Install TVs, speakers, racks, network equipment, control devices, and other AV components Assist with equipment configuration, system setup, and troubleshooting Read and follow wiring diagrams, plans, and installation documentation Maintain clean, organized work areas and professional job sites Identify and resolve installation issues in the field Work closely with project managers, designers, programmers, and other technicians Complete installations with a high level of attention to detail and craftsmanship Experience With Any of the Following is aPlus:
TV mounting Home theaters & distributed audio Networking & Wi-Fi Lutron lighting & shades Security cameras & alarm systems Access control Rack building & cable management Home automation (Control4, URC, ELAN, Magic Cube, etc.) New construction pre-wire & retrofit installations Safety & Compliance Adhere to company, client, and OSHA safety standards Carry out installations that align with the company's quality and performance standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including job sites and in vehicles. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in AV, low-voltage, home automation, electrical, networking, construction, or a related field is preferred Clean and professional workmanship Comfortable using hand and power tools Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads Strong attention to detail and high accountability for quality control Experience in troubleshooting and repairs, with the ability to think through problems independently Basic understanding of networking, wiring, and residential technology Ability to read plans, diagrams, and technical documentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills Must have a valid driver's license, cleaning driving record, and reliable transportation We offer competitive pay based on experience, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to work on some incredible residential and commercial projects throughout Colorado.
