Job Description

Responsibilities Install and integrate commercial AV systems including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, control systems, and networked AV equipment. Terminate, label, and test CAT6, speaker wire, coax, HDMI, and other AV-related cabling. Rack build and equipment setup based on AV design drawings and signal flow diagrams. Assist in system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning. Follow project plans and scope of work under the guidance of lead technicians or project managers. Ensure all work meets company quality standards and complies with safety protocols. Collaborate with internal teams and on-site contractors to ensure efficient, clean, and timely installations. Maintain accurate documentation of installation progress and changes. Requirements 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial AV installation. Strong knowledge of AV systems, signal types, and physical connection standards (HDMI, VGA, XLR, RCA, CAT6, etc.). Proficient in pulling, terminating, and testing structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, speaker wire, control cabling). Basic understanding of IP networking as it relates to AV (IP addressing, switches, PoE, VLANs a plus). Ability to read and interpret AV system schematics and floor plans. Experience with mounting and installation of displays, speakers, and hardware in various environments. Comfortable using hand and power tools, ladders, lifts, and working in commercial construction settings. Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first attitude. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or scissor lifts as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, or similar AV platforms. CTS certification or other relevant industry credentials. OSHA 10/30 or other safety training certifications. Why Join Us?
