YACHT AV/IT TECHNICIAN - SCOPE OF WORK
Install, configure, and service integrated AV and IT systems aboard superyachts and private residences Deploy and support Crestron control systems , ensuring seamless integration between AV platforms and underlying network infrastructure Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networks , supporting both AV-over-IP and traditional IT services Lead and support network architecture, deployment, and diagnostics , including switching, routing, and wireless systems Provide technical expertise and guidance to management during system design, engineering, and project planning phases Configure, deploy, and support Starlink maritime connectivity and satellite-based networking solutions Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Netgear, Cisco managed switches, routers, and wireless access points Design, implement, and manage VLANs and advanced network segmentation to support AV and IT performance requirements Maintain accurate system documentation, network diagrams, and configuration standards Stay current with evolving AV, IT, networking, and maritime technologies , including AV-over-IP trends
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in yacht or luxury residential IT environments (preferred) Required hands-on experience installing, configuring, and supporting Starlink systems, including maritime deployments Advanced working knowledge of Netgear managed switches and routers, including configuration, firmware management, and troubleshooting Demonstrated expertise in VLAN design, implementation, and ongoing management, including tagging, trunking, and network segmentation Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi Ability to independently troubleshoot complex network and integrated system issues Strong communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Must be willing and able to travel, including domestic and international travel as required by project needs
