Serve as the onsite point of contact for VIP meetings, ensuring all arrangements are executed flawlessly. Assist with setup, configuration, and breakdown of meeting spaces, including seating, signage, and equipment. Provide basic AV troubleshooting support, including connecting laptops, troubleshooting audio/video issues, and managing conference call equipment. Ensure all meeting materials, technology, and facilities are prepared and functioning prior to events. Greet and assist VIP guests and attendees, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. Document issues and resolutions for continuous improvement. Setup events in an auditorium and classroom environment Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customer event needs Perform preventative maintenance task to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to: testing/repairing cables, testing/repairing various hardware components Responsible for job site documentation as needed Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, installing connectors, video/audio recording support Work with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL Provide client training as needed Adhere to and understand local safety standards for all site dutiesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
Proven experience supporting high-profile meetings or events is preferred. Basic knowledge of AV equipment, conference room technology, and troubleshooting. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Availability to work onsite during scheduled events, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and troubleshoot common AV issues. Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalentNice-To-Haves:
