Job Description

The Kabbalah Centre A/V Tech Miami, Florida About US:
The Kabbalah Centre is a non-profit organization that makes the principles of Kabbalah understandable and relevant to everyday life. Kabbalah is an ancient spiritual wisdom that teaches the individual and the world how to improve our lives. We believe that at the core of the world's great religions and spiritual traditions are truths that we call the wisdom of Kabbalah. Our goal at the Kabbalah Centre is to disseminate this wisdom as widely as possible to improve our individual lives, the collective, and the world. The Centre was founded by Rav Yehuda Ashlag in 1922 and now spans the globe with brick-and-mortar locations in more than 40 cities and an extensive online presence.
Position Summary:
The Kabbalah Centre seeks an experienced A/V Technician to help manage and support A/V, live-streaming and in-person classes for Florida study groups and classes in 3 locations. This is a part-time, non-exempt position and includes evening and occasional weekend hours. The position will report to the A/V Department Manager or his designee.
Essential Functions:
  • Manage KCFL's internal operation for producing, editing, and distributing audio-visual content.
  • Strengthen and implement A/V infrastructure and systems upgrades to enhance the quality of KCFL audio-visual productions.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental communication on behalf of the A/V Department.
  • Perform routine software & hardware maintenance, including storage maintenance and/or upgrades as needed.
  • Oversee production & live streaming for all KCFL classes & events, including weekly Sabbath services (Friday/Saturday) and Jewish holidays as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with camerawork, audio mixing, and lighting required
  • Familiarity with the Crestron (or a comparable) A/V management system
  • Familiarity with streaming production system
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate Jewish holidays and Sabbath services
  • Experience working with and maintaining audio-visual content databases Proficiency in Hebrew and/or Spanish composition is a plus (though not required) experience with IT a plus

$23.28 - $25.27 per hour
