Specialty Vehicle Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Audio/Video Lead Integrator to join our team. For more than 30 years, we've specialized in custom vehicle manufacturing with quality standards that exceed industry norms. We are currently in need of a Lead AV/Data Integration Technician with the following skills:

JOB DUTIES

Install hardware such as TVs, speakers, computers, cameras, racks and rack equipment. Use specialty tools to test/certify signals. (multimeter, copper data certifiers) Document and update work, maintain personal/company tools and materials Keep job site organized and clean. Work in various roles in the team Expand knowledge level.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of ASTM, NFPA, and NEC. Knowledge of Audio/Video/Data signals and protocols. Ability to read and interpret flowcharts, block diagrams, wire diagrams and elevation drawings. Understanding of DC/AC circuits. Ability to use; multimeter (DMM), hand tools, safety equipment (PPE) Able to reliably work a flexible schedule which may include weekends. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to follow and provide written and verbal directions and meet deadlines. Ability and sufficient knowledge of systems to troubleshoot. Coordinate with management and engineers on scheduling, change orders, and department needs. Provide accurate department status updates. Ability to mentor and train junior technicians, ensure SOP compliance, review work In addition to the above, preferred candidates will have: Basic IP networking skills Industry certifications (CTS, BICSI, CEDIA…) RF experience with Broadcast, Microwave, Wi-Fi, Cellular, SAT Fabrication skills with sheet metal, wood and composites
