Audio Visual (AV)
Service Coordinator Location:
Onsite (Hours between 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM preferred)Employment Type:
Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Audio Visual (AV) Service Coordinator to support a growing service team. This role plays a critical part in coordinating installations, managing service requests, and supporting both internal teams and external clients. The ideal candidate combines strong administrative and customer service skills with technical aptitude and a hands-on understanding of tools and AV-related equipment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule AV installations and service projects Secure labor for installations, including internal technicians and subcontractors Build and manage installation schedules across multiple projects Communicate installation timelines and updates to customers Manage service desk tickets and ensure timely resolution Partner with project managers to staff installations appropriately Identify and onboard subcontractors in various markets Maintain subcontractor agreements and vendor relationships Optimize scheduling and routing to maximize efficiency Track and manage fleet utilization, including renting vehicles as needed Handle ongoing communication with customers and internal teams Support continuous improvement of scheduling and service processes Typical Day Assign technicians and subcontractors to projects Publish and update project schedules for visibility Coordinate closely with project managers and installation teams Adjust schedules based on project changes or resource needs Monitor open service tickets and ensure timely follow-up Communicate updates with customers and internal stakeholders Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in customer support, service coordination, or scheduling Strong administrative and data entry skills Advanced proficiency in Excel and managing multiple data sources Technical aptitude with experience supporting products or systems Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Audio Visual (AV) technology or installations Familiarity with ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution Mechanical aptitude and experience using tools (e.g., furniture repair or installations) Work Environment 100% onsite position Operating hours between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (early shift preferred) Collaborative team environment supporting technicians and project teams Opportunity to contribute to a growing and expanding department What You'll Get Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Modern workspace with updated technology and amenities Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
