This is a 6-12 month

CONTRACT

position with potential to stay on the team full-time. Travel is required. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities As an Audiovisual Installation Lead Technician, your role involves supervising and implementing the installation of audiovisual systems. This includes coordinating with clients, interpreting technical diagrams, and leading a team in mounting and configuring equipment. You would be responsible for ensuring proper cable management, troubleshooting system issues, and training clients on system usage. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are key attributes for this position. Staying updated on industry advancements and adhering to safety standards during installations are also essential aspects of the role. In this role, the technician is expected to be able to read the scope of work, delegate workload across the team, and decommission and install AV system as drawings require with keen eye for detail. While we are based out of Cary, NC, 70% of our projects are not in NC and will require travel.

Minimum Requirements:

4+ years of experience in AV industry, at least 2 years of AV lead experience. Independently read drawings and install AV system based on provided information. 50-70% travel is required. Must be able to clear background check and have a clean driving record. Valid Drivers License Must be comfortable with air travel. Desired Qualifications CTS and BICSI certifications are a plus OSHA Certified Microsoft Suite & Google Suite experience preferred Physical Demands Able to lift up to 75 pounds Able to walk 10,000 steps+ daily Able to maneuver on ladders and scaffolds (if required)
