62 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Moving Nightclub Live event audio projects Full Job Description Job Overview Barcode Entertainment Complex is a live nightclub and event venue seeking a hands-on Audio/Video Technician to run sound and visuals for nightly shows, DJ sets, live performances, and private events. This is an on-site role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy nightlife environment and knows how to make a room sound and look incredible. What You'll Do
  • Set up, operate, and tear down audio systems (mixers, speakers, monitors, microphones) for live events and DJ sets
  • Run video systems including projectors, LED walls, screens, cameras, and visual feeds during shows
  • Mix live sound for performers, DJs, and hosts, adjusting levels in real time for the best guest experience
  • Manage cabling, signal routing, and stage and booth setup
  • Troubleshoot and quickly resolve audio and video issues during live events
  • Perform routine maintenance, testing, and storage of AV equipment
  • Coordinate with DJs, performers, promoters, and event staff on technical needs
  • Keep the AV booth and equipment areas organized and event-ready What We're Looking For
  • Proven hands-on experience with live audio and video equipment (nightclub, concert, or event experience strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of mixing consoles, PA systems, signal flow, and lighting and video integration
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems calmly under pressure during live events
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to lift and move heavy equipment and stand for long periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • A good ear, an eye for visuals, and genuine passion for nightlife and live entertainment Nice to Have
  • Experience with DJ equipment and software
  • Knowledge of lighting control and visual/VJ software
  • Familiarity with LED wall and projection mapping setups This is an in-person position located in Elizabeth, NJ.
Applicants must be able to reliably commute to the venue.
Pay:
$25.43
