Job Description

POSITION
Sr. Field Technician
REPORTS TO
Senior Manager of Operations
OBJECTIVE
: This role is responsible for the effective installation, final testing and commissioning of audio-visual systems. You must be able to lead a team of subcontractors on multi-room projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to provide documented results from system commissioning.
COMPENSATION
Non-exempt (hourly), monthly cell phone stipend and car allowance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to: Review and understand Scope of Work (SOW) and other system functional documentation Read and understand AV wiring drawings, AV architectural drawings, and cable pull schedules Function as a client liaison and onsite project manager Coordinate AV requirements with General Contractors and other trades Lead and supervise a team of installation subcontractors Perform AV installations as needed Provide daily status reports Review physical system installations for proper wiring, cable dressing, terminations, and labeling Test point to point functionality of a system Load, test, troubleshoot, and commission control system programs Load, test, troubleshoot, and commission audio DSP systems, including fine tuning of gain structure and AEC Configure, troubleshoot and commission IP network AV systems Perform complete integrated AV system commission Create punch list and track towards resolution Perform end user training on AV system operation Significant experience with technologies: AVoIP Networking Dante AVB Video conferencing USB connectivity for AV and conferencing Audio systems Camera systems Zoom Rooms Teams Rooms Significant experience with manufacturers: Crestron Q-SYS Extron Biamp Shure Cisco Logitech Poly Netgear
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Valid and clean driver's license 5 Years AV industry experience
OHSA-40/SST
Certification AVIXA CTS or CTS-I Certification Excellent written and verbal communication skills This job description may be revised at any given time by Verrex Management.
