Work Schedule:
These are part-time, on-call, as needed (W-2) positions. Hours will vary; including nights, weekends and holidays and there is no minimum guarantee of hours per week, month, etc. Applicants with previous industry experience and flexible availability are preferred but we will train well-qualified candidates. Rhino Staging was founded in 1991 with a simple philosophy of doing things right and treating people well. We've pioneered many positive changes in the entertainment industry over the years and will continue to do so through our commitment to integrity, safety and professional development.Physical Requirements:
Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50 lbs. as required for equipment handling. Ability to consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop & twist as required for on-site tasks.Other Requirements:
Reliable source of transportation to get to and from event sites in a timely manner Must understand general industry terms and fundamental principles Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. This position is classified as safety-sensitive under Nevada law. (We do not screen for marijuana.) Must be willing to work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions Must be willing to work cohesively with teammates and supervisors Must wear appropriate attire and footwear for concert / corporate events as outlined in Rhino policies Must be able to communicate effectively in English to ensure the safe execution of tasks and coordination with crew and clients- Must be 18 yrs of age or older High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a similar role is a plus OSHA 10 General Industry certification required by the State of Nevada.
Essential Communication Functions:
The role requires the ability to receive, understand, and respond to safety‑critical instructions in dynamic, high‑risk environments. Crew members must communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers while working around heavy equipment, elevated structures, rigging, and rapidly changing conditions. Communication may occur through spoken English, written English, ASL, text‑based systems, visual cues, or other reasonable accommodations. Certain tasks occur in fast‑moving contexts where only immediate verbal comprehension in English is operationally feasible because no alternative communication method can be used without creating delay or increasing safety risk.
