Experienced AV Technician (Low Voltage / Smart Home Installation)

BlueSpeed AV is hiring two experienced AV Technicians to join our team. We specialize in high-end residential and commercial smart home systems, and we're looking for technicians who understand quality, efficiency, and attention to detail. This is not an entry-level position — we are looking for individuals with hands-on experience in AV installation and system setup . Position Overview You will be responsible for installing and supporting audio/video systems, including running wire, mounting displays, and assisting with full system integrations. Experience with structured wiring and AV equipment is required. Experience with Savant systems is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Run and terminate low-voltage wiring (audio, video, network) Install and mount TVs, speakers, and AV equipment Assist with installation of home automation and control systems Rack equipment and maintain clean, organized installations Troubleshoot basic system issues during and after install Work with team members to complete projects efficiently Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in AV installation or low-voltage work Familiarity with AV systems, components, and signal flow Experience running wire in residential and/or commercial environments Clean driving record (required) Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in various environments Strong work ethic and attention to detail Preferred (Not Required) Experience with Savant or other control systems Networking knowledge (routers, switches, Wi-Fi systems) Schedule Monday - Friday Standard daytime hours (varies by project) Compensation $18 - $25 per hour , based on experience About BlueSpeed AV BlueSpeed AV specializes in high-end smart home technology, including audio/video, lighting, networking, security, and automation systems.
