Event Technology Technician Oxford Solutions, Inc - 5.0 Pittsburgh, PA Job Details Contract $19 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Event Technology Technician for a contract opportunity supporting hands-on technical installation, wiring, equipment setup, and system buildout work for live event and media production environments. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their technical career who wants to gain practical experience with audio/visual systems, broadcast technology, computer equipment, cabling, and live event production support. The role is well-suited for recent graduates of a technical, electronics, media production, AV, or broadcast technology program, as well as candidates with hands-on experience from school, internships, labs, part-time work, or personal technical projects. In this role, you will help build and support technical systems used for live events such as sporting events, concerts, commercials, mobile productions, and audio/visual installations. Training can be provided in some areas for candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Assist with setup, installation, and testing of AV, broadcast, computer, and related technical equipment Run, organize, and prepare wiring and cabling for equipment, racks, panels, and systems Use basic hand tools to support assembly, installation, and refurbishment work Follow technical drawings, layouts, and instructions to complete assigned tasks Support multiple project needs in a deadline-driven environment Qualifications Associate degree, technical degree, certificate, or hands-on training preferred Entry-level or junior-level technical experience in AV, broadcast, electronics, IT hardware, cabling, or a related area Interest in live event technology, media production, AV installation, or broadcast systems Comfortable performing hands-on work and learning new technical skills Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends as needed Valid driver's license required Event Technology Technician - 26-00646 IND123
