Position Summary Information Job Description Summary:
This position is open for both graduate and undergrad students. It will focus on video production, supporting staff with editing projects as well as supporting technology in the classrooms across campus. You will also be shooting video, assisting professors in the classroom and assisting staff in other related projects. This job will also require customer service, entering tickets scanning, typing and moderate clerical work. The most integral part of this position is responsibility as you will be working side by side with the professional staff to provide support to faculty and staff throughout the university. You will be trained on how to shoot video with cameras that are used in the professional field and edit video using Final Cut Pro. We do have an excellent training program so a willingness to learn and desire to learn are essential. We do shoots all over campus and cover events almost daily, there is a large editing component to the work and it is a true production shop atmosphere with very quick turnarounds. It is a position that entails a great deal of responsibility but offers great opportunities for both learning and future job placement.
Requirements:
Must be familiar with Microsoft Teams, Google Docs, and Spreadsheets (Excel, Pages, etc). Must be familiar with Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Outlook, and Excel Digital editing experience and proficiency - Final Cut Pro or Premiere Proficient in Zoom Must be responsible and be able to provide references.

Physical Demands Summary:
Lifting of camera equipment up to 50 lbs. Walking from Scarpa Hall to all ends of campus for shoots, support, and meetings. Be able to stand for long stretches to record.
