Job Description

We're seeking a local AV & Events Production Coordinator in the greater San Francisco Bay Area to join our team on a part-time, hourly basis. Do not apply if you are not local to the SF Bay Area. This role requires in-person availability for events, venue scouts, and live productions several times per month. You'll work closely with our founder and production team to support live events, hybrid livestreams, and AV productions — helping keep projects running smoothly from pre-production through execution. A big part of this role is owning venue relationships and AV logistics end-to-end. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their events or AV career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to own tasks — not just assist with them. What You'll Do Own and manage venue relationships — scouting, contracts, logistics coordination, and ongoing communication Coordinate AV setups for live events and hybrid livestreams (audio, video, lighting, backline, streaming tech) Manage AV rentals: sourcing vendors, building gear lists, arranging delivery, load-in, and strike Prepare and maintain run-of-show documents, event timelines, and equipment lists Assist with hybrid/livestream event prep (training provided) Be on-site during events to support AV execution and keep things running on schedule Handle vendor and client communication, scheduling, and follow-ups Keep clients updated on event status and next steps Track timelines, assets, and deliverables alongside our project manager Maintain organized project files in Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs Assist with estimates, contracts, and invoices Jump in where needed with a solution-oriented mindset What We're Looking For Located in the SF Bay Area and available for on-site events several times per month Extremely detail-oriented and self-driven — you thrive on lists, systems, and follow-through (Seriously — if you don't love details, this won't be a good fit.) Experience with live events, AV setups, venue coordination, or hybrid/livestream production Comfortable managing vendor and venue relationships professionally and proactively Able to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball Comfortable working independently in a mostly remote environment Flexible schedule — events don't always happen 9-5 Familiarity with Google Workspace; experience with QuickBooks or Monday.com is a plus (we'll train the right person) Role Structure Part-time, hourly — minimum 4 hours/day on remote work days Event days require extended hours (load-in, execution, and strike) On-site availability is required several times per month for events and scouts Please do not reach out directly. Your application will be removed. Use the application and resume link provided here.

If something critical — a piece of gear, a venue confirmation, a vendor — fell through shortly before an event, what would you do? Why does this role interest you at this stage of your career?
