Audio/Video Technician

We are hiring a dedicated Full-Time Audio/Visual Technician. The ideal professional brings a minimum of one to three years of hands-on A/V installation experience This is an independent, client-facing role that requires sharp precision and a polished corporate presentation. This is a non-smoking position.

Primary Responsibilities Client & Partner Liaison:

Communicate seamlessly with property owners, general contractors, and designers.

Autonomous Execution:

Manage on-site installations efficiently without daily oversight.

System Integration:

Set up whole-home entertainment, theater systems, climate control, lighting, and security.

Control Programming:

Configure control platforms, specifically Control4 and URC.

Network Administration:

Deploy robust residential and light commercial networks.

Precision Wiring:

Execute flawless cable organization from structural rough-in to final server rack layout.

Technical Blueprinting:

Interpret and draft detailed physical wiring diagrams.

Multitasking:

Keep multiple active jobs moving forward at the same time.

Physical & Practical Requirements Manual Dexterity:

Safely operate diverse hand and power tools with basic building knowledge.

Physical Stamina:

Lift up to 75 pounds and work confidently from high extension ladders.

Logistics:

Possess a valid driver's license, dependable vehicle, and personal hand tools.

Flexibility:

Work non-traditional hours when necessary to hit client deadlines.

Experience & Qualifications Core Experience:

3+ years in A/V installation (Required).

Troubleshooting:

1+ years resolving system issues (Preferred).

Tool Proficiency:

1+ years using manual and motorized tools (Preferred).

Compensation & Benefits Wage Range:

$18.00 - $30.00 hourly.
