Seasonal Tailgate Audio/Video Setup Technician Location:
Fort Worth & Dallas, TX Pay:
$20/hour
Minimum Pay:
5-hour guaranteed pay per scheduled workday, even if the job is completed early

September through November We are looking for reliable and hardworking team members to join our college football tailgating operations crew for the upcoming season. Our company provides the audio and video services for college tailgates on campus . Our team is responsible for setting up and removing the TVs, satellite equipment, power, and cabling for customers who purchase a media package. What You'll Do As a Tailgate Audio/Video Setup Technician, you will work with our crew to prepare tailgate areas before game day and break everything down after the event.
Responsibilities include:
Running satellite/coaxial cable from DISH equipment to individual tailgate tents Running and organizing extension cords to each media setup Placing DISH receivers/equipment at designated tents Mounting TVs onto provided tent TV mounts Connecting TVs and equipment and assisting with basic setup Keeping cables and equipment organized throughout the setup process Returning Sunday morning to remove TVs, cables, extension cords, DISH equipment, and other A/V equipment Loading and organizing equipment after pickup Working efficiently with the crew to ensure all assigned tailgates are completed Typical Work Schedule (PLEASE READ)
Thursday:
Approximately 4:00 PM-9:00 PM Hours may vary depending on the event.
Friday:
Approximately 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or until setup is completed.
Sunday:
Starting at 6:00 AM and ending when all equipment has been picked up and secured. This position will generally follow this schedule each college football home-game week from September through November . Work will take place primarily in Fort Worth and Dallas . Pay $20 per hour with a 5-hour minimum guarantee per scheduled workday. If the crew completes the assigned job in less than five hours, you will still be paid for five hours. What We're Looking For No professional A/V experience is required. We can train the right person. We are looking for someone who: Is dependable and shows up on time Can lift and carry TVs and equipment Must be comfortable being on your feet for several hours and walking long distances across large college campuses. This position involves a significant amount of walking during each shift. Is comfortable working with extension cords, cables, TV mounts, and basic electronics Can follow setup instructions and work as part of a team Is available for early Sunday morning pickups Has reliable transportation to job locations in Fort Worth and Dallas Can consistently work scheduled home-game weekends throughout the season This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone looking to make extra money during college football season while working in a fast-paced event environment. Season runs September through November.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 24.0 per week
