(TPI), has a great opportunity for a seasoned Lead Installation Technicians to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. Job Description The Lead Technician is responsible for professionally assembling and deploying the field elements of all types of integrated systems. These elements include but are not limited to all types of cabling, speakers, projectors, projection screens, flat panels, cameras, microphones, antennas, interface plates, and racks. The Lead Technician is also responsible for leading and managing a small team that will accomplish all assigned tasks within the resource and timeline parameters of the assignment. This employee reports to the Project Manager and will be assigned daily tasks and objectives that must be completed in accordance to the company standards and procedures. In addition to having mastered the skills and tasks of a Field Technician, this individual must also be able to interface with clients, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and company personnel. Onsite environments include, but not limited to private or corporate offices, local and federal buildings, higher education facilities, restaurants, hotels, and resorts. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Lead Technician must be able to actively perform the following:
Field Tasks:
1. A working understanding of general construction practices and procedures with an in-depth knowledge of specific mounting requirements for all associated products. 2. A working understanding and adherence to general construction site safety requirements. 3. An in-depth understanding of all associated cabling types commonly used for the company's systems, identifying their specific uses, limitations, and installation parameters. 4. Install all field wiring for a typical integrated audiovisual system utilizing company standards and best practices. 5. Certify all field wiring, which includes verification that the wiring is installed correctly, is labeled properly, and can pass signal as specified by the manufacturer. 6. Properly locate and install ceiling and wall mounted loudspeakers, to include proper termination of wiring. Certified function tests of all installed speakers is required. 7. Properly locate and install ceiling or wall mounted projectors, projection screens, flat panels, cameras, and microphones, antennas, and wall plates including their associated mounting hardware. 8. Use the proper mounting techniques for all field devices in a variety of applications and infrastructure scenarios. 9. Lead and manage assigned personnel to complete all tasks in accordance to the parameters set by the Project Manager.Office Tasks:
1. Design, document, and commission all cabling and wiring assignments using specific company software and resources. 2. Assist in the assembly and fabrication of system racks and components. 3. Manage and execute all administration requirements for the project. 4. Manage and execute all administration requirements for assigned personnel.Necessary skills:

Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner Intermediate computer knowledgeEducation:
