Job Description

EKC Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an A/V Installer to join our team! We are a low voltage integration company Headquartered in Fresno, CA. EKC Enterprises, Inc. is a people first company that believes in investing in our employees and creating a collaborative and engaging culture. This role requires a Tier 2/3 AV professional who can take ownership of complex installations, contribute to system design execution, and program control/DSP systems to ensure seamless integration. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, hands-on installation experience, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and commission professional AV systems, including displays, projectors, video conferencing, and audio solutions. Program and configure control systems (Extron, Crestron, or QSC). Program and tune DSP platforms (QSC Q-SYS, Biamp, BSS, or equivalent). Terminate, test, and certify AV cabling (HDMI, Cat6, audio). Read and interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and scope documents. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project requirements are met on time and within budget. Provide troubleshooting and technical support during installation and post-install phases. Adhere to safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of AV installation experience, with at least 2 years in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 role. Proven experience programming control systems (Extron, Crestron, or QSC required). Hands-on DSP experience (QSC Q-SYS, Biamp, BSS, etc.). Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, networking, and integration best practices. Ability to interpret system designs and technical documentation. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. CTS or other industry certifications (preferred but not required). Ability to travel to project sites as needed. No DOD clearances required.
